Ravinia

We packed a picnic and took the train out to beautiful Ravinia to see The Goat Rodeo Sessions, a collaboration between Yo-Yo Ma, Stuart Duncan, Edgar Meyer, and Chris Thile. They performed original compositions blending classical and bluegrass styles. Highlights of the concert were guest appearances by vocalist Aoife O'Donovan and an arrangement of Bach's Viola da gamba Sonata in B minor for cello, bass, and mandolin. 

American Suzuki Institute

Some iphone photos from our trip to the American Suzuki Institute in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. We enjoyed time outdoors, learned, observed master teachers, and ate lots of ice cream!
